Best way to reach us

For quick questions or to place a pickup order, call us — phone is the fastest way to reach the counter, and the same person answering the phone is the one building your order. We pick up right between rushes; if it rings through, leave a quick voicemail with your name, what you want, and a number we can call you back at.

For catering quotes, larger group orders, dietary questions, or anything that needs a written record, email is usually best. We typically respond within one business day. If your event is within 48 hours, please call instead so we can confirm in real time.

What to include when you contact us

• Pickup orders: the items, proteins, sides, and a target pickup time.
• Catering: headcount, date, time, format (taco bar, burrito spread, bowls, platters), and pickup or delivery.

Finding us at Sun Valley Mall

We are located inside the Sun Valley Mall food court at the intersection of Willow Pass Road and Sun Valley Boulevard, with easy access from I-680 and Highway 242. Sun Valley Mall has free parking on all sides of the building, and the food court is reachable from multiple entrances. Look for the Artesanal Grill counter inside the food court — our signage shows the menu sections (Burritos, Tacos, Bowls, Quesadillas) and our brand colors.

If you are coming for the first time, the easiest entrance is the food court entrance off the parking lot facing Willow Pass Road. From the parking lot it is a short walk inside, and the food court is signed from the mall’s main concourses as well.

Hours and best times to visit

• Lunch rush — 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM weekdays. Calling ahead can save 10–15 minutes.
• Mid-afternoon — 2 PM to 4 PM. Quietest window of the day; great for a relaxed meal.
• Dinner — 5 PM to 7 PM. Busy on weekends and around mall events; still moves fast.
• Late evening — 7 PM to 9 PM. Lower volume; easy walk-up.

Service area

While our counter is in Concord, our regulars come from across the East Bay — Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Pittsburg, Antioch, Clayton, Bay Point, Pacheco, and Lafayette are all within an easy drive. For catering, we can typically arrange pickup or delivery throughout these cities depending on order size and timing.

Group orders, large pickups, and special requests

For orders larger than about ten plates, please call rather than emailing — phone is faster and lets us coordinate timing in real time. We can usually accommodate same-day large pickups if you call early in the day, especially for off-peak hours. For events on a weekend, a day or two of notice is ideal.

Special requests we can typically accommodate include extra-spicy salsa preparations, no-cilantro builds, no-onion builds, gluten-aware adjustments, and lighter or heavier portion sizes. For specific dietary restrictions or food allergies, mention it on the call so we can talk through the ingredients of the dish you want.

Order timing throughout the day

Mornings (10 AM – 11 AM) are quiet — easy walk-up, no wait. Lunch rush (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM) is our busiest stretch and the time when calling ahead saves the most. Mid-afternoon (2 PM – 4 PM) is calm again. Dinner (5 PM – 7 PM) is steady, especially Friday and Saturday. Late evening (7 PM – 9 PM) is relaxed and a great time for a slow, comfortable meal. Whatever time you come in, the food is cooked the same way — fresh, to order.

What to do if your order is wrong

Mistakes happen. If something is missing or built differently than you asked, please call the counter at (925) 980-1244 right away — we’ll fix it on the spot or make it right next visit. We track these so we can spot patterns and prevent them from happening again. Honest feedback is more useful to us than a quiet bad review.

Sun Valley Mall is fully accessible — elevators, accessible parking, accessible restrooms, and step-free entrances. The food court itself has open seating with chairs and benches; staff at our counter are happy to bring your order to a table if needed, just ask.

Lost & found, billing questions, and other follow-ups

If you left something at the counter, call us as soon as you can — we hold lost items behind the counter for at least a few days.
